Some people may think the 2008-09 season just ended. But the 2009-10 season officially kicks off on June 30, 2009 with the first legs of the first qualification round of the Champions League.

Qualification for UEFA Champions League
Draw - 22 June 2009 - UEFA Champions League First and second qualifying rounds
30 June/1 July 2009 - First Qualifying Round, First Legs
7/8 July 2009 - First Qualifying Round, Second Legs
14/15 July 2009 - Second Qualifying Round, First Legs
21/22 July 2009 - Second Qualifying Round, Second Legs
Draw - 17 July 2009 - UEFA Champions League Third qualifying round
28/29 July 2009 - Third Qualifying Round, First Legs
4/5 August 2009 - Third Qualifying Round, Second Legs
+ The losing team from each of the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round ties will go into the UEFA Europa League play-offs.
